Man arrives in St. Louis after retracing Buffalo Soldiers' 1,900-mile trek made in 1897

Black U.S. Army soldiers, who became known as the Buffalo Soldier Bicycle Corps of the 25th Infantry, went on a mission 125 years ago to determine whether it was more effective to move across the country via bicycle than by horse. A modern-day cyclist recently retraced the 1,900-mile route.
