Emergency services were called to Erw Las in Aberdare on at 10.25am Saturday to reports of a man with serious head an facial injuries. He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he has since died. Police said they are treating the death as suspicious and have arrested a local 38-year-old man on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
