Lunar New Year Concert with Xiao Dong Wei At the age of 11, she was accepted into the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Ten years later she earned her degree, becoming "Master of the Erhu". A 2012 Kresge Artist, she has appeared as a soloist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She has been featured on National Public Radio and has produced multiple critically-acclaimed albums. Xiao Dong Wei is a lecturer at the University of Michigan and her music can be heard all around the world.
