State police are investigating after a 2-year-old died in a crash Wednesday night in St. Helena Parish.
Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L were dispatched to a crash with multiple injuries on LA Highway 1045 near LA Highway 43 in St. Helena Parish around 10 p.m. Sign up for our Newsletters
The crash claimed the life of a 2-year-old, identified as Jhavia Porter of Greensburg, and injured three others, according to state police.
According to state police, the crash happened after a driver and three children exited their vehicle and walked into the road.
