Local students make Worcester Polytechnic Institute dean’s list Share WORCESTER, Mass. — Five local students have been named to the 2020 fall dean’s list at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. They include Braden Ballard of Fairfield, a junior majoring in civil engineering; Bryce Bragdon of Windsor, a sophomore majoring in aerospace engineering; Brett Foster of Fairfield, a junior majoring in electrical & computer engineering; Brock Jolicoeur of Waterville, a sophomore majoring in physics; and Rowan Labaugh of Augusta, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering. The criteria for the institute’s dean’s list differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, it defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
