Michelle Loxton Welcome to KAZU's weekly news roundup for 4/23/21. Here you'll find the top local stories of the week and a few select national stories from NPR. This week’s guilty verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin marked a historic moment in America. Chauvin was convicted on all charges in the murder of George Floyd. Testimony ran for three weeks and it took jurors about ten hours to reach their decision. Following the announcement, KAZU and NPR provided live, special coverage Tuesday.
