Yesterday’s update shows 1,630 total positive cases involving Richland County residents, with 44 deaths, 1,576 people recovered, 40 quarantined due to contact, only 10 active positive cases all in home isolation, and 1 now hospitalized. There have been 21,050 Richland County tests with 19,420 negative results. COVID-19 testing is still available at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. Use the front parking lot “B” off of North East Street from 8:00 to 6:00 seven days a week. ————————————————————————————————————————— (NEWTON) The Jasper County Health Department in Newton reported three (3) new COVID-19 cases from over the weekend, since last Friday. Yesterday’s updated numbers show 1,072 total coronavirus cases involving Jasper County residents, with 20 deaths, 1,043 people now recovered, 34 people quarantined due to contact, now only 9 active positive cases with all in home isolation, and now 3 people hospitalized. There have been 9,318 total tests conducted for COVID-19 in Jasper County with 8,246 negative test results to date. And a reminder that COVID-19 testing hours at the Jasper County Health Department testing trailer in the JCHD parking lot are from 8:30 each morning to 12:30 each afternoon, each Monday through Friday.
