Hunter Greene ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team is set to kick off Mountain West play on Monday, Dec. 21 in its first conference series of the season at Boise State. The Lobos will play game one on Monday at 7:30 p.m. MT on FS1. UNM enters Monday’s game 3-0 on the season including a pair of back-to-back 30+ point victories. Monday’s contest will mark UNM’s second NCAA Division I competition of the season. Boise State, selected in the league’s preseason poll to finish second this season, is 4-1 with four NCAA Division I opponents and one NAIA institution. The Broncos opened with a 68-58 loss at No. 17 Houston before going on a four-win streak. The streak includes a 74-70 win at BYU and a 70-59 victory over Weber State.
