USAFA, Colo. — The University of New Mexico baseball team delivered three home runs in three innings, but it was not enough to change the momentum of the game and ultimately fell 3-10 to Air Force. The Lobos (9-23, 6-15 MW) split the series 3-3 after sweeping the Falcons (20-18, 12-12 MW) earlier this season at home.
“These boys have been on the road 75 percent of the season and in COVID quarantine for almost 70 days, not including the four months back home in between during the height of COVID,” said head coach Ray Birmingham. “It will be good to play at home.”
