After a two-year long effort, on June 22 City Council approved the co-naming of the crosswalk at 6115 Broadway between West 251st St. and Manhattan College Parkway to Betty and Lloyd Adams Way. The honor is in memory of Betty and Lloyd Adams, co-owners and founders of Lloyd’s Carrot Cake shop across the street from Van Cortlandt Park since 1986.
