First Time Really Feeling comes from one of Australia's longest serving musicians Liz Stringer. First Time Really Feeling marks Stringer's sixth studio album. She released her first record 24 years ago: a demo that was recorded on cassette tape when Stringer was just 16-years-old and living in Germany. Since then, Stringer has built a stellar reputation, regularly referred to as a "songwriter's songwriter" and a "musician's musician". In 2019 she was honoured at Woodford Folk Festival as an 'emerging legend of Australian song'. Having carved out fanbases across the world, including Australia, Canada and parts of Europe, it is no doubt that
