Pagani's new track weapon is going to be wild. Last month, Pagani lifted the wraps off the Huayra Tricolore, a new special-edition hypercar inspired by the Italian Air Force. Thanks to its 6.0-liter V12 generating a colossal 840 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque, the Tricolore is the most powerful Huayra yet - but it probably won't be for much longer. This month, Pagani will reveal the new hardcore Huayra R. Like the Zonda R before it, the Huayra R will be a track-only weapon and could serve as a swansong for the ten-year-old Huayra. While we don't have a reveal date yet, Pagani is starting 2021 with a new teaser video previewing the Huayra R's vicious V12 soundtrack while showing the top of the engine cover.
