Liquor Shops: Berhampur liquor shops to remain shut till Jun

Berhampur liquor shops will be closed from 9 pm Thursday till June 6 to prevent post-poll violence. Police patrolling will be intensified in the city during this period. The Election Commission of India has declared June 4 as a dry day. SP (Berhampur) Sarthak Sarangi announced the closure to prevent violence before and after the election results are declared.
