International aid efforts are increasing to help the survivors of the flash flood that devastated the Libyan coastal city of Derna. Search-and-rescue teams are continuing to search for survivors in the destroyed city, where 30,000 residents are now homeless. The UN warns that residents are in desperate need of clean water, food, shelter, and basic supplies, as there is an increasing risk of cholera, diarrhoea, dehydration, and malnutrition.
