Lexington man killed after being struck by a car on I-85 exit The Dispatch A Lexington man was killed Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle when he was reportedly walking in the roadway on the exit ramp for Old U.S. Highway 64. At approximately 1 a.m. Monday, a 2010 Honda passenger vehicle was traveling south on I-85 and took the exit for Old U.S. Highway 64. The driver struck a pedestrian who was reportedly walking in the roadway of the exit ramp, according to Ned Moultrie with the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
