Great Bargains opens doors in Lexington with deep discounts Julius and Shaylyn Floyd did not have to get cutesy and creative with the name of their new store that opened July 7 so customers knew what to expect. The Lexington couple made the store's name short and to the point — Great Bargains. Opened in the Forest Hills Shopping Center on Forest Hills Road, the store owners purchase liquidated merchandise from Target, Costco, Macy's and more and then offer it to Davidson County shoppers at a steep discount. The boxes may be dented and the shoes, such as Birkenstocks, Toms and Crocs, may not have a box, but it is all new.
