LC partners with National Guard for water distribution July 11, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail Laredo College employees distribute bottled water to Laredoans amid boil water noticeCourtesy /Laredo College In response to the recent city-wide boil water notice, Laredo College was pleased to partner with the City of Laredo and the National Guard to distribute bottled water to the Laredo community on Wednesday at both of its campuses. The city delivered 15 pallets of bottled water to the college for distribution, thus supplying two water cases per vehicle and providing clean water to hundreds of families in the community. According to city officials, the entire city remains under the boil water notice as a precautionary measure since chlorine residuals are under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s minimum levels.
