Harvath ST. LOUIS (Legal Newsline) – Deodorant claiming to prevent white marks is not doing its job, a new class action lawsuit says. The case, filed Dec. 16 in St. Louis Circuit Court, targets Colgate-Palmolive’s Lady Speed Stick “Invisible” antiperspirant. The company on Jan. 26 removed the case to federal court. “The ‘Invisible’ line of products is deceptively and misleadingly marketed as being a product that causes or creates ‘No White Marks’ on a user’s clothing,” the suit says. “However, despite those claims, the ‘Invisible’ line of antiperspirants actually causes and creates the ‘white marks’ that it claims to produce ‘none’ of.”
