Lawmakers call on Biden for Pine Ridge, Rosebud public safet

A resolution — which notes a "crisis" over multiple homicides over the year's first two months — was brought by Rep. Peri Pourier, D-Pine Ridge, and Senate Minority Leader Troy Heinert, D-Mission, who point out that the federal government has historically underfunded law enforcement on the lands of the state's two largest tribal nations.
