<p><strong>Tots and Trauma - 9 - 10:30 a.m.<br />Presenter: Melea Belton</strong><br />What happens when excessive stress comes to a point? Can children really experience trauma? How can you recognize trauma in children? These are just a few topics that will be covered as we explore the many ways to identify and understand trauma in youth.<br /><br /><strong>Prevention and Protection - 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.<br />Presenter: Jen Zamarron</strong><br />This presentation focuses on body safety for preschool aged children. Sexual abuse prevention is vital knowledge for anyone that works with children. Attendees can expect to learn statistics, warning, signs, and how to respond in an appropriate manner if a child discloses abuse. Attendees will also learn practical body safety strategies that are easy to implement with young children.<br /><br /><strong>Surviving Screen Time&nbsp; - 1 - 2:30 p.m.<br />Presenter:&nbsp; Jen Cronkite</strong><br />We're not the only ones living life online these days - our children are too!&nbsp; From virtual classrooms to social media and everything in between, our children are digital natives and there are many thoughts and feelings that go along with that fact. Let's talk about what screen time means, how it impacts our children and youth, and healthy ways to get through it all. Join us for this important conversation on surviving screen time.</p>
