Last bell Demolition began last week on the former Perry Primary School, located on Clark Street adjacent to the Alton H. Wentworth Administrative Complex. The local contractor, Sam Boyer, has a 90-day window to complete the project, but school district Facilities Director Dan Anderson said, “I expect he’ll be done well before that…Probably in the next two to three weeks.” The school, which housed grades K-2, welcomed its first class of students in 1975-76 with Richard Bell as principal.
