LAKEVILLE — At the Lakeville selectmen’s meeting on Dec. 14, LakeCAM Executive Director Jose Invencio and his staff got high marks for their collective performance scheduling, live broadcasting, and hosting virtual meetings for town government during the COVID-19 epidemic of 2020. LakeCAM’s Facebook page (http://www.lakecam.tv/) has been the only place that residents can watch live or recorded broadcasts of town boards and committees since the epidemic forced the cancellation of in-person meetings in public buildings this spring. Invencio was asked to coordinate the recording schedule for all town boards, set up live broadcasts and host the virtual meetings, and speedily post the videos for future viewing by residents. By all accounts, he and his staff have performed above and beyond what was expected, allowing all committees to continue business via those virtual meetings.
