Reporter federal regulators are investigating why two of the eight cars on this high speed amtrak train separated early this morning north of baltimore. Sources say the dc to boston train was traveling at more than 124 miles an hour moments before the separation. Amtrak says 52 passengers were on board. They were put on another train. No injuries.
