against the falcons, and do you think he has to do more against the vikings in order to win? >> i think nick foles played well. i think as the game went on could you see his confidence really grow. and when it was crunch time in that second half, he made all of the flows that he had to make. so, i thought he was just fine as far as what he has to do against the vikings, i think they have to throw the ball more. we talk about establishing the run a lot, pat, but this is a run defense that like the eagles is very difficult to penetrate. the eagles number one against the run, but the vikings defense is number two. so, they only give up an average of about 3 yards, which tells me that nick foles has to put the ball in the air more often than he did against the falcons. >> so let's talk about those vikings as you mention, very good on both sides of the ball and coming off and a incredible probable win, what do they do best? >> well, they do a lot of things well. but the thing they do best is they are a great defense. they are the number one overall defense in the national football league. as i said, number, number one overall, but number two against the run. and number two against the pass. eagles meanwhile have the fourth ranked defense as they're number beer one against the run, but i think number 17 against the pass. >> the key on the vikings that the eagles need to stop? >> well number one, i think the guy you have to stop is always, always your quarterback, case has played very well for any quarterback let alone a back up. but he's been very, very good. but i think you have to put pressure on him, because you talk about the vikings wide receivers, a step on things you know what he did last week , the other guy is adam, once upon a time was free agent, now an out standing receiver. but the key is getting the to case. not letting these two wide receivers make double moves and have time get down fields. if fletcher cox and his friends on that defensive line can crush the pocket, and get time and time again at least they don't have to sack him a lot. but at least force him to hurry, i think the rest, the secondary will be fine. >> merrill, one win
