need. >> so, we're in the fit, up ear's and 60s. >> pushing zero seven at dover right now. >> i believe it. >> exactly. >> exactly. it is crazy. it is so warm in advance of this cold front. but it is a very potent one. so we talked about the possibility of snow already. yes, don't let these temperatures fool you t really is about to get very, very cold. also, we have to deal with some rain that comes along with all of. >> this just about ready to leave the house for the rest of the day, my advice, is specially if you plan to be out later tonight, to have that umbrella ready to go, because it look like we could get pretty doused out of this, and more specifics on that timing, too, we start it all off by looking where else at storm scan3, where at the moment it is really just the leading edge of this rain, starting to get ever closer, so creeping in, toward 81, and as it migrates east, if you are traveling, say, pa, turnpike westbound, over the next few hours, you will begin to run into this, but this isn't going to be major issue until at least 3:00 p.m. for these north and west most suburbs. for now, most of russ just enjoying the warmth, starting to notice hint of breeze, as that warmth really surges in, along with some moisture in advance of this very potent cold front. now you can really see some nice organization with the storm itself. but it really is just the cold front with this storm. that has the biggest impact on the area, but his is what gets the trends going. usher in the rain, and really that rain could be pretty heavy at times through the lehigh valley and the poconos, window of the heavy rain, i know looks like long window, but window nonetheless, three p.m. to 10:00 p.m. over the span of that time you'll see rounds of moisture getting funneled in to the lehigh valley and poconos, so to up three quarters of an inch you saw there, through philly and northwestern suburbs from about seven p.m. to 10:00 p.m. so you won't have as much of an opportunity to pick up the higher totals, but could you see to up half inch, and then between about ten p.m. and 1:00 a.m. for most of delaware , and the southern half of new jersey, so also, up to about a half inch there. now, as love to say, went nerve fact coming, and quite literally in this regard, too, the jet stream plunging south, that's allowing the cold to also do the same from the depth of the arctic, so we're going to see some very, very chilly air set until here. and that's of course the key ingredient necessary for us to see any snow potential. and as we end near a bit more of an active pattern that potential does starting to up little bit. but look at this. we were at 67 before high noon sixty-six the current temperature at dover this hour you're at 61 in philly. fifty-five, even in allentown, incredibly warm, poconos 47 degrees, above what your normal high would be, by a pretty substantial amount. so still have multiple hours left before finished with the day and probably tack another couple of degrees on in most spots. these are your air temperatures however by comparison, in international falls n winter peg, as they like to call it, here across the canadian border, only in the teens, the twin cities. so the colds is certainly funneling in now across the us state border, and we're going to see it eventually reach us here, later on tonight into tomorrow. i'll step out of the way so you can take all of this in. active pattern unfolding. so few chances down the road for us to see some snow. late friday night, into early saturday morning, few flakes even possible on sunday, and then another storm comes along tuesday night into wednesday. so those are the three opportunities over the span of the seven day anyway, and they are just opportunities, right now, there isn't guarantee this will happen. but we've got cold in place, and possibility of these systems to roll through the area. now, you can even see from the courtesy of the winds flow those clouds rolling through our live neighborhood network, outside kutztown, it is obviously a gray sky, haven't seen the raindrops really falling yet. i went for walk for coffee, i felt all of one raindrop on the entire walk. moisture building but the heavy rain still holding off for now. we do expect to hit about 62 before this all gets really underway. and then the cold begins to catch up as the front itself crosses through. good news is we don't drop off too much later on tonight so it is stickily a rain producing system, but eventually that cold will play calf up. so by tomorrow, up to 49 at best. at least seeing the skies break for some sunshine, thursday looks beautiful, but looks can be deceiving pretty chilly brisk day coming up friday night into early saturday possibility, especially in the southeastern counties, closer you are to the shore, the better chance really to see some snow track is key on this. >> i feel it will feel even colder since we had the little - >> oh, yes. >> all right. >> thanks, kate. >> i thanks, katie. well, bringing hope to those who taught all was lost. >> meisha here now with today's lincoln financial field it. meisha? >>
