now left with nothing. good evening, everyone, i'm natasha brown, thank you for johning us. eyewitness news report joe holden spoke with those who knew sheila taylor hopkins well. >> from shawmont school killed in an early morning fire. >> sheila taylor hawkins a third grade teach tour, was a fix you're in the community. 91 calls began pouring in 8:00 sunday morning reporting heavy shok and flames. neighbors heard screams for help and grabbed ladders to rescue those inside including taylor hawkins' daughter and one of her grandchildren. >> he was a wonderful person, caring, love, wonderful person. >> taylor hawkins was rushed to the hospital. she did not survive her injuries. in the aftermath of the deadly fire. >> they have nothing it's gone everything. >> a community stepped up to help this grief stricken family. >> it's a small community. once you hear something in roxboro is in need of something we all pull togethe together. it's just the way it is. >> they put out the world for help. >> they donated everything, amazing. >> in a blink of an eye, clothes, gift cards, money were dropped off. >> roxboro is amazing and the community came together and donated since this morning. >> heavy hearted community remembering a woman whom the principal of shawmon school had a heart big enough to fill a room. >> she helped me with my grades when i was doing bad she helped me get my grades up. she was one of my favorite teachers. >> the fire is not considered to be suspicious. i did speak to robert mcgrogen principal the shawmmon school. he tells us she had a newer touring spirit. he enter some the days calling families in her class. additional counselors will be at the school on monday and he adds, he's been khokdz up over knowing that a class full of 8 years will not lawrenceville man is facing murder charges tonight. in connection with a shooting at an apple bees. police say last tuesday, 27-year-old powell shot 2 23-year-old devin smith in the head as he sat at the bar at at applebees restaurant route 1 lawrenceville. powell is held at the mercer county corrections center at this point. >> police are investigating another homicide tonight. a domestic dispute throat shooting death of victim. this happened 500 block of east main in kutztown around 2:30 this afternoon. police say the victim was pronounced dead at the sceechbility a second person involved thrs a west chester community came together and strangers sprung into acts in the mid of the night to comfort 100 elderly or disabled residents that lived in the burping brk lay learneding facility. household items and medical supplies. some expensive. >> we talk about economy being low for people to stretch their wallets and to put this much into it because most of these things are new. when you
