that how many i had at this is cranking up. feels like tropical air mass, across the delaware vale. that will continue for another 24-36 hours. down the shore, one spot where you can find little relief. people out there, doing a jog or bike ride there on the boardwalk, in the sunshine, but even the humidity is cranking down toward the shore point. temperatures there will be in the upper 80s today. annex he is i have heat warning will go into effect, noontime today everybody else under heat advisory, talking temperatures mid 90s heat indexes which is what it feels like with humidity, over 100 this afternoon, drink plenty of water try to avoid strenuous activity if you can or just stay inside in the air-conditioning. temperature upper 70s, 76 wilmington delaware, capitol city in delaware, you guys at 74 in dover. palmyra, in urge new jersey 78 degrees already, 73 pottstown, 72 in quakertown. nice and quiet on storm scan3 just some clouds rolling on through, dry and there could be stray shower this afternoon, but look at the temperatures by 10:00 85, noontime, already at 93:00 o'clock, 95 degrees, and 6:00 still hanging out in the low 90s reaching high of 95 today for philadelphia, at the shore, poconos i'll let you know when relief is in site when you show you the seven day forecast in a few. >> three-story home goes up in flames forcing dozens every residents out of their homes . >> i spoke with sergeant miller, he tells me they do have person of interest, in connection with this fire. that matches a description given by eyewitness, earlier this morning. they're also pulling surveillance video to see who could have possibly started this fire green here at this vacant property, vacant three-story property of juniper street near snyder. and fire officials say it began around 3:30 a.m. believed to be rubbish fire. the major problems was heat exposure with the second floor collapsing on to the first floor, damaging four nearby homes. seventeen people were sent to shelter, and the entire 1300 block of snyder avenue was evacuated. we spoke to an eyewitness who said he was across the street from the fire, just moments before the explosion happened, and he said that he saw two men, one on the rooftop hereof this adjacent building, here's what he had to say. >> i just ran around, and banged on people's doors, you know call 911 and trying to evacuate people. you know, get them out of the house. >> with a was going through your mind when you saw this, when you heard the explosion? >> i was shocked. first of all i never seen a fire like that in my life. you know, it was very, you know really, really hot like, you know, i could feel it down the end of the block. >> that gentleman spoke with south detectives, giving his account, and as i mentioned they are currently interviewing a person of interest and are possibly looking for up to two suspect as i mentioned earlier, 17 people had been taken to a shelter here at the philadelphia high school of performing arts. the entire block has been evacuated. fire commissioner, derrick sawyer, has said that he will be bringing in the fire marshals, and the atf to continue this investigation to find out what exactly caused this fire. in south philadelphia, cherri gregg, "kyw news radio", for cbs-3, "eyewitness news". cherry, thank you very much. well, happening now the 20 annual tour de shore record breaking 2300 cyclist also signed up for this year's race. cyclists just took off from center city and they're traveling on down to atlantic city. the 65-mile bike ride is meant to raise money for the children of fallen police officers and firefighters. this year, organizers are hoping to raise some $800,000. good luck to all of them. and because of the tour de shore, ben franklin bridge is closed to vehicle traffic until 8:30 this morning. however, the pedestrian walkway is still open, and drivers should use the walt whitman bridge or the betsy ross, we'll have more on the closures coming up in traffic. well, new this morning one person is rushed to the hospital after a car slams into the 5,000 block every bensalem boulevard. investigators tell us, the person was injured was inside the car no details on their condition. a woman was inside the home at the time of the crash. but not injured. the cause that far crash remains under investigation. this morning. new developments in the murder after drexel graduate found dead in her apartment. philadelphia police are questioning a person of interest in the case. around. current air temperatures were still in the 70s low seven's north and west, upper 70s for philadelphia, mount pocono, approaching that 70 degrees mark. there is that winds coming right off the water there so comfortable conditions down toward the shore still humid we're in the low and mid 70s at the shore points. when you factor in the humidity, this is how it will feel. over the next few days, pretty much today insufferable, still oppressive monday. so today tomorrow, those are the worse days as far as the humidity goes, then finally tuesday, still in the humid side. notice difference. then wednesday, actually feels pleasant compared to what will happen today. nice and quiet on storm scan3 high thin clouds rolling on through right now see no precipitation, could be stray shower or storm that does pop up later this afternoon. it is all because of this hazy hot humid air mass that's situated right on top of us now will feel like over 100 degrees in some spots this afternoon. there is a cold front that comes through tomorrow. this could touch off another shower or storm but it stays hot, humid there is front really doesn't knock the temperatures back. we have to wait until this front comes through on tuesday, which bridges another round of some showers and storms, and finally once that passes tuesday night we will drop the humidity levels. there will be slight risk for severe storms being mainly late tonight, after midnight. specially to the in a northern poconos, northern pennsylvania, there could be some heavier downpours gusty winds, again best bridges or the delaware river bridges instead. so we move the traffic cam again, this morning right here, this is to the ben franklin parkway. no delays or problems on the ben franklin parkway this morning. it is open for business, no events or plans that we know of. if there are event, at the not affecting any traffic. if you look to the left, that's martin luther king drive, that's closed between the parkway and montgomery drive for recreational activities. moving the traffic cam one more time to i95 320 looking to the right of your screen, see disable vehicle, it is in the southbound breaking news in south philadelphia this morning. dozen every residents are displaced after a three alarm fire in the 2,000 block of juniper street. cherri gregg from our sister station "kyw news radio" 1060 ask live on the scene as police right now are questioning a person of interest. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, todd yes i just spoke with sergeant mill here says that they are speaking with a person of interest, who possibly matches the description of an eyewitness, that they interviewed earlier this morning they'll also be pulling surveillance video in this case, as you can see this vacant building was totally gutted, fire crews arrived on the scene, grew to three alarms, fire commissioner derrick sawyer says the challenge of course was heat exposure danger created, in the vacant building. four nearby homes suffered exterior damage, but luckily no one was injured. i spoke with an eyewitness, who was here, moments before the fire started. around 2:30, 3:00 across the scene from the fire, i seen gentleman with black hoodie, at first i heard broken glass then seen him enter the building which caught on fire, i seen another gentleman on the roof, right next where the fire took place. and i don't nope, it was weird, like maybe five minutes later the guy came running out. he ran east, down snyder avenue. about two minutes after he came out of the property, there was huge explosion. >> now, that gentleman said he knock on doors trying to evacuate people, before calling 911, and i confirmed with south detective that they did, in fact, interview that gentleman, and in connection with their investigation. now, fire officials say 17 people were sent to shelter and the entire 1300 block of snyder was evacuated k take several hours before the resident of this
