Reporter first question we had was did this person have a right to be carrying that weapon. We now know that they did. What the shooting justified that parties still under investigation. There is a municipal official who witnessed a bank robbery at td bank on south york road here in hat wrote township. They persued that person and then ended up shooting that person and hopefully we can show you this story, right now. No audio. All right. So i guess we are having an issue with that but the municipal official here in hatboro, ended up shooting this suspect in the hand, arms and nonlife threatening injuries. Police are investigating if the shooting was justified but the only injury was to that suspect who is now in Police Custody and recovering at abington hospital. He entered the bank with a note and in the note it indicated that if he wasnt delivering money wow start shooting. Reporter the teller complied but before police had a chance to respond a boro official, who had been watching outside took off on foot after the fleeing robber. We are now in this process of investigating a shooting that occurred, of the suspect. Reporter and that brings us here, less than a mile away from the bank to an Industry Park off of west minister road where police say this boro resident and official shot the robbery suspect twice and held him there until police arrived. There was a number of requests for the suspect to get on the ground. He did not comply with that. He was shot. He then got on the the ground.
