the way was in the first 16 minutes of the game, it was a woman's world cup record. she scored six goals in seven games and was awarded the gold ball as most valuable player in the tournament. the to the west but look at down in delaware new castle county we are seeing a storm and look at these two heavy storms over sussex county starting to invite in cape may county as well. these showers and near the road. it created quite a traffic mess there. we also no one person was injured. northbound route one was closed as a result, traffic on the southbound lanes then backed up behind the accident. philadelphia police say they are close to tracking down the group of girls involved in the stabbing death of a teen mother. authorities say victim was stab during a fight sunday morning at broad street and hunting park avenue. "eyewitness news" reporter steve paterson is live at that scene where a vigil is scheduled for victim tonight steve. >> reporter: jessica, not only does philadelphia police detectives tell us they have surveillance video of the entire crime but that they have identified nearly everyone involved in the incident and so they wondered if we should pass this bit of the advice to the teenagers who were involved and were present that night come and talk to the detectives before that is no longer an option. final warning from police. >> my advice to these young ladies would be to go to their parents, let them know what happened and come into the homicide unit and tell their story. >> reporter: philadelphia police captain james clark says his detectives have seen faces, are placing the names and want to give a group of teenage girls one last chance to come in before they are taken in. >> we should get a warrant very soon. >> reporter: police say killer of 17 year-old mother anita cotton is also a teenage girl, clark says cotton's group of about 20 left the cities fourth of july celebration late saturday night and got into a fight with the smaller group of teens on south street. >> both groups then took the train into the park and then about 3:00 sunday morning, for the the gang here in this walgreens parking lot. cotton and her killer grabbled until a second teen took out a knife and stabbed her in the neck. >> next week they heard she got stabbed in the neck, she got stabbed in her neck. >> reporter: eyewitness kimberly knight saw the fight and she tried to help cotton but was too late. >> she was already gone. she was covered in blood. it was horrible. >> reporter: anita was rush to the hospital and pronounced dead leaving behind a two-year old right steve thanks very much. a false alarm after reports of the shooting at walter reed medical center in bethesda maryland. the national military medical center was on lock down this morning after a reported gunfire heard inside of that building. police searched the 20 story tower and they found no evidence of gunshots and in injuries were reported, all patient care at the facility was suspend today. fire investigators in atlantic city are still searching for cause behind a large brush fire on the fourth of july. that fire broke out on the dunes between indiana and ohio avenues. investigators say that fire scorched an area measuring 50 feet by 250 feet and it took crews an hour to get it under control but no one was hurt. president obama made a rare visit to the pentagon where he met with military leaders to talk about his strategy to stop isis. he then briefed reporters saying important progress has been made. >> our coalition has hit isil with more than 5,000 air steamy weather and if you have been looking forward, maybe looking forward to the fourth of july thinking it feels too chilly for the fourth now you have your wish. temperatures close to the 90's and humidity has ramped up at least for a few days we will be dealing with showers and that muggy weather but we have better news by even of the week and weekend if you are looking to make weekend plans. lets take a peak at some people with weekday plans down the shore how nice is this. look at ocean city completely packed, beach looking fantastic at the moment. no problems down there just yet but we are tracking a few showers moving up through delaware and they could have their sights set on cape may county. if you are down the shore know someone on the beach give them a heads up that these stormser could get in here. the flag is, really blowing there wind are getting a little bit stiff breezy right now, as these showers and storms work their way in. we will go margate live neighborhood network cameras beach patrol looking fine in margate. nothing but blue skies at the moment. but look at what is heading your way? this may miss the shore to the north. it is lifting from south to north. these showers and storms impacting southern delaware right now will continue up into portions of cumberland county. portions of sussex county delaware and southern kent county getting hit by pretty heavy thunderstorms. if you are around milford toward delaware beaches some heavy rain, torrential rain falling, with these storms, at the moment and that could lead to ponding on the road. these showers and storms will pop up, throughout tonight even here in philadelphia and really through rest of the region. you can see moisture lifting in. what we will turn our attention to is this next storm slicing through upper midwest, arriving for us later in the day on wednesday and that is our next chance for locally strong to severe thunderstorm as that front comes through. temperatures from correspondent brian web. >> as dale earnhardt junior cruised to the win at coke 0400 pack of cars behind him got tangled up and spit out in a expect tam lar crash. the number three car driven by austin dylann was sent flying through the air straight in the catch bin at nearly 190 miles an hour. his car almost unrecognizable, as the engine completely separated from the vehicle. crew members rushed to pull dylann from the wreckage and quickly gave the thumbs up signal letting the crowd know that dylann was okay. soon after austin emerge from the wreckage and waved to his fan. after the king high school as part of the school district's plan to improve literacy rates for kindergarten through third grade student over three years. work ships will continue through end of the week. in camden school leaders shared progress of their strategic plan call the camden commitment. they reported gains this school year in safety student support and family engage: superintendent says that the
