other oakland teachers, says the two sides agree on many of the safety protocols needed to keep schools safe. but the district hasn't put that in writing. they're not willing to commit to us, you know, and because of that, because we want to make sure that these are solid commitments from the district that are going to last us through the end of the school year and not just last us for a couple of weeks, and then they say, okay, well, we've decided things have changed now. where do we want to the union has three core demands weekly covid testing at all schools with extended hours up of an armed robbery video from the citizen app shows officers there at the scene where they tried to get that suspect to surrender. police say the suspect tried to run away, but officers quickly contained the neighborhood and eventually took the suspect into custody. hundreds of people living near big sur remain under evacuation orders tonight as a wildfire continues to burn in that rugged area. the colorado fire started in a steep canyon friday night. cal fire says so far the flames have burned just over 1000 acres with 25% containment. a portion of highway one is closed between eight miles south of carmel and five miles north of big sur that includes the iconic bixby bridge , and so far there is no word as to when that portion of the highway will reopen 49ers fans still flying
