So far it has burned more then 367,000 acres in parts of seven counties in the east bay, the south bay and the central valley. And the czu lightning complex fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains has burned 80,000 acres. Containment there has grown to 21 tonight. Cal fire is reporting 537 structures have been destroyed in this fire. Cal fire says more resources have been brought in to help with the firefight in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Fire Officials Say an additional 300 personnel are on the ground, which should speed up containment of the fire. Also today, the Sheriffs Office said deputies spent much of the day searching for a 73yearold man who spent two nights in the woods. Chief Deputy Chris Clark says the man tried to sneak back into his home in the evacuation zone, but got lost in steep terrain. Because these lowlevel elevations stack up 15 to 20 feet of water out by cameron in lake charles, with all the rainfall and runoff you will have problems.
