The outbreak at san quentin began after some were transferred there in late may. Yesterday it was announced the top medical officer was removed and replaced. The state has since set up a Field Hospital to help with the surge on the grounds of san quentin. Dozens of inmates have been sent outside for treatment. More than 150 Corrections Officers and sergeants are being brought if from other prisons to help as well as 40 40 nursing staff are being sent.
