Carquinez bridge. This is what we know about all four people inside the car who died. New we do not have an 800 driver but she appears to be a young female, possibly early 20s. We believe the right rear passenger was a 19yearold male. The left rear passenger, a 21 yearold male. The right front passenger, a 22 yearold female. Reporter young and also the ages where they would just be starting out. Their lives were cut short after the crash that happened at about 8 42 the night. The chp so the driver somehow lost control while on eastbound 80, east of pomona street along the carquinez bridge bridge. The driver crossed all lanes of traffic, with over a concrete wall and fell into a parked train before landing in a commercial facility. Theres no train personnel that were injured. Reporter officers dont know whether drugs or alcohol are a factor, or if the driver was speeding. They said they have recently seen more people driving over 100 miles per hour. They warn drivers to slow down. As for this investigation, they are looking for witnesses. We encourage anyone who may have information, they could call us at the chp fairfield office.
