Governor newsoms order, an unprecedented action calling for 40 Million People who live in california to stay home. Now, Governor Newsoms order calling for people to stay home. Whats really confusing to a lot of people is this went into effect last night but theres no end date. So how long will this shelter inplace order last. The governor also called the coronavirus outbreak a Global Crisis on a scale we have never seen before. The governor estimates 56 of californias population will be infected with coronavirus in the next eight weeks unless extreme measures are taken to slow the spread. If we change our behaviors, that inventory will come down. If we meet this moment, we can truly bend the curve to reduce the need to surge, to reduce the need to have to go out and begin to cobble all those assets together. Atrias manager declined to speak about the outbreak. Reporter now, in writing, the managers of the facility say its their priority to put the health and wellness of the residents first and that theyre monitoring the situation with officials and will take all necessary steps. No piles of forms for laid off workers or busy families to fill out. Money for people. From the middle class on down. Period. Corporations should not get a bail out and then be allowed to fire employees or cut their salaries, cut their benefits. Also, the senate bill would include 300 billion for Small Business loans and it would let businesses defer paying payroll taxes. The government also has a warning for you about those relief checks. The Worlds Largest cruise operator is offering its help in the fight against the coronavirus. Carnival says the ships can be used as floating hospitals. This would free up more space at landbased hospitals to treat people infected with the virus. Carnival says it would still ask authorities to reimburse the cruise line for essential resources.
