We buy so minimally, i probably buy three presents and im done. We keep it simple, people. Thank you for joining us. Its a bright and cold tuesday. I want to share a piece of video some people call chilling. Her home has one of those ring Security Systems and someone claiming to be santa. Listen. Dont you want to be my best friend . He says, dont you want to be my best friend . This is a stranger talking to the girl in her room on the ring security camera. Ring is owned by amazon. It says it does not have evidence that the system or network have been compromised but ring is telling its users to choose a complex password, change the password frequently. I think this is something a lot of people will be receiving as a gift. Everyone is interested in home security. What many people dont realize is you can be trading some of your own privacy in the name of security. Have you ever considered Something Like this . Considered it but how is that not being compromised . Some strange man talking in your home. They think what happened is this. I use the same password for everything. This is true. If a hacker got my password through another channel, not through amazon or ring, but then oh, i happen to also use it for my ring account, it works here, so amazon itself wasnt hacked but if youre like me and use everything for everything you could be in trouble. Just a little warning. Interesting. Poor 8yearold girl. To the newscast we go. Well start in the north bay right now.
