She had been assaulted and had a head injury. Both died from gunshot wounds. The got in a fight before the shooting. Investigators are looking for three different areas on harvest avenue and trying to piece together exactly what happened. Were told three people involved likely knew each other and these were the only people involved. There is not an outstanding suspect. They are trying to figure out all of the details. No one really heard anything but we were told there were multiple gunshots that went off. The chp is investigating a car crash that killed two people and involved a wrong way driver. Police identified him as prole rodriguez about 4 00 yesterday afternoon. The Santa ClaritaAuto Theft Task force tried to stop the stolen car near Lewiston Center road. Authorities say rodriguez got out of the car and ran. They tried to hide in an occupied home. The homeowner managed to escape an armed and then the house caught fire. We started our fire attack. We were able to find one person. I was really surprised that there was a fire in the Police Department was looking for a suspect. Rodriguez suffered significant burns and was taken to a trauma center. He will be booked into the county jail. He is wanted on a 25,000 felony warrant for burglary. This project has been at the very center of controversy over whether homeless shelters should be built in San Francisco. We are live there to clean both sides of the issue and tell us what happened once the shutter open. It has about 200 beds inside. The goal is to alleviate some of the homelessness. Its its on a parking lot on beale and brian street in San Francisco. Its location is a part of the reason as to why it was so controversial. There are a lot of people and neighbors in the area who did not want to see it built right next to their homes. The mayor faced stiff opposition from those neighbors. They expressed concerns about crimes and other problems.
