Everybody was in so much shock that it was just very numb of a feeling. Reporter misty was five months pregnant and died at the scene. Her husband was wounded, but expected to survive. Witnesses say they suspect the couple was shot because they had interrupted whoever was trying to break in to their car. Today Police Crime Scene tape could still be seen near the 13th and 14th holes where that baby was found. San Francisco Police and a coroners van responded to the scene on saturday afternoon. The golfer was at the course with a friend when they realized something was terribly wrong. We had noticed there was a very distinct, you know, smell. We couldnt place it. Reporter homicide investigators are assigned to this case, but still not known if foul play is suspected. Police say they are now hoping to find the mother of that infant. The tough on crime policies, the war on drugs destroyed our communities, cost us billions of dollars and did not make it safer. And obviously you need to work hand in hand with Law Enforcement in the city. How do you bridge that gap and how important is it that you do that . I believe in the democratic process and the integrity of the other candidates in this race. I was disappointed that they did not take that approach, but i intend to reach out to the leadership and to listen and to their perspective. Their direct quote was your policies, they would decimate the public safety. Those who hear that or may have concerns about that message and what your election will mean. What do you tell them . I would love to see the Police Officers, the Association Leadership get more in line with the values of San Francisco voters. But one way another our focus is on the violent crimes. My focus is on the crimes that will matter the most with the highest at stake for victims and those accused of the crime. What do you tell them about what you intend to do to ease those things . And to look at the causes to look at the opportunity for intervention and to work with police not just in San Francisco, but across the bay area to have more sophisticated responses to what is obviously a regional problem. And i received a lot of message for you this morning to reference the attack on china town and two elderly men. What do you say to the community that has questions about that . I reached out to the victims to reach out to them and to hear from them and about what their needs are to meet those needs. I want more information on what motivated the attacks. And what the contact was. And i want to put them first and i want to make sure they are feeling the harm. Showing someone was knocked unconscious and brain damage and i want to get more information about what their needs are and to make sure were prioritizing healing that harm and preventing Something Like this from happening again. Police in San Francisco are increasing patrols in chinatown following a brutal attack over the weekend. Saturdays attack was captured on video. It shows three men being beaten up one knocked to the ground unconscious by a group of men and an apparent robbery attempt. The victims are ages 63, 67, 68. Police are now trying to determine if saturdays attack in portsmouth square is connected to another attack on friday night in front of a bakery on jackson street.
