The blue zone indicates places like guerneville, sevastopol, bodega bay and occidental, where people are told to return home. They have been told there is still an evacuation warning in effect and they should remain ready to evacuate again very quickly, if necessary. The latest warnings include many in lake county covering the area of highway 29 in the napa county area with evacuation warnings also including the towns of middletown, twin pine casino, middletown red cherry and the dry creek area. We have Steve Paulson back in the middle of a big weather event. We are talking about wind . The third red flag warning in 10 days, unprecedented. The National Weather service was talking about this. They said it would never happen. Is it for the bay area . Madeley northeast. Lets take a look. The red flag warnings means big gusting in higher elevations, especially pit not 85 or 90 again but similar to last week with gusting at seven d from 3565 milesper hour tuesday into early wednesday. The wind is not bad and then will pick up around 10 00 in the morning, 11 00, and then pick up. We are not looking for the intensity that we had for the weekend but it will be a very blustery pattern and low humidity and high wind, not favorable. Another system kicking in with a pressure gradient. Extreme fire weather is back with us. Humidity is okay because the temperatures are cold with a dry air mass in the wind is not that bad right now. The Sonoma County sheriff said not everyone is in the clear and most orders remain in effect for evacuating Sonoma County because of the kincade fire, still very active and only 15 contained. Later this morning, as you heard Steve Paulson mention, the wind is expected to pick up over the next 24 hours and that could increase the risk for fire danger and even folks allowed to go back home are told to remain vigilant and alert in case things change and they may need to evacuate again.
