Reporter the manager tells me the business learned a lesson during the last outage. It has purchased a new generator. Were on standby generator u here to try to run business as usual. Reporter during the last outage, the markets stayed open, moving all their perishables into the refrigerated trucks, only powering the lights and register. One said she lost power in her home. They were all sold out. I think they could cross your fingers. This is ridiculous and in 2019 and the state of california this is the best way to prevent firefighters. That this is the best they could do, it is shameful. High winds make them necessary to prevent fires. We are really dealing with a new reality here.
