The bay bridge toll plaza, it is pretty packed with a 20 minute delay to get on to the span. Organizers say they are standing in solidarity with others around the globe threat the world faces today. Some want Climate Change to be declargreen new deal. The rally starts at 11 00 a. M. Here in berkeley and they are happening all over the bay area, thousands of students expected to walk out of class. Police at san josi State University are investigating shots fired at the library last night around 6 20 p. M. Police found two windows shattered by gunfire, one on the seventh floor and another on the eighth. The library was open and filled with students but no one was hurt. I got a phone call from my friend out here, saying theres shots fired, sirens. And looked out here and san josi pd was all around. He said, shots fired in the seventh floor window. One, i wont be parking in there no more. Two, im going to do my research from home from now tha library, that should be a safe place. The gunfire also hit a city parking garage across the street and at least bullet hole elevator shaft. A student at san josi state was arrested yesterday for bringing a loaded gun onto campus and making threats. Police say the 17yearold was found with a semiautomatic handgun, ammunition and a knife after someone saw threats hed made on social media. We talked with a former classmate of the boy and said he was in band and was often bullied by other students. It saddens me, because hes just very confused, you know. And i dont think he knows whats good for him. So its a bit of a shame to know that he went to such extremes. The suspect was booked in Juvenile Hall and suspended from san josi state. His name is not being released 6 06 now. The Sheriffs Office wants to know if there are more victims in a child sexual abuse investigation. 69yearold Lonnie Wright is facing ten charges and is behind bars now. Investigators say the abuse allegedly occurred in rodeo and the victim was 10 or younger. Wright may have cared for many children and there could be more victims. Hes jailed now on 5. 5 million bail. Three more lawsuits have been filed against the Vallejo Police department detailing claims of excessive force. Vallejo officers are accused of false arrest, racial profiling and assault. A massage therapist said she was driving home last year when she was stopped and said officers dragged her out of her drivers seat and accused of stealing her own car. Really uncivilized gang type of behavior that has to stop. Frankly we are disgusted by the city of Vallejo Police department. The attorney is alleging a patternover misconduct within the department. The vallejo Attorney Says they cannot comment but they are quote, confident that the fact based litigation process will determine the truth in this situation. Employees from facebook are grieving after a coworker jumped from the building and died about 11 30 a. M. Yesterday. Police say the unidentified man and are treating this as a suicide.
