Always dancing, smiling, laughing, there for her community and there for the department and there for her family. Her Law Enforcement family says shell be surely missed. And full of grace. Reporter at the park in south san jose not far from the family home, loved ones gathered to pray and to honor margaret sandez. It is very sad. I lost a true friend. And it is just very tough. Reporter she had no Family History of cancer when back in july doctors found a tumor at the stem of her brain and they started treatment and gave her at least one to two years to live. When she struggled to walk up and down, her fellow, understand able to sit up was rushed to the e. R. Doctors changed her prognosis. And they said it was, you know, no coming back from this and it was just really serious. Reporter she passed away thursday at midnight. Dozens of Police Officers escorted her body from the hospital to the funeral home. Born and raised in east san jose. She never saw brown women who were lesbians helping her. She wanted to be that force. For clear lgbtq brown kids. She was about to test before she got ill and most recently worked in the familys Violence Unit known for giving back to the community and the chief put her picture and her kids in the pictures on the Ice Cream Truck used in san jose. After finding out that the land is prone to flooding, they decided to move the 34single family homes to the area where the Current Library is standing. We were told it would be good, then people would not have been voted if they thought this was going to happen. And so it was piece representation. But since the county owns the land, the only thing they could do is show had their support of keeping the library open through patching a resolution. There arent fulltime librarians in our schools, so we rely on the city to give thattous. During the transition, the county plans to offer temporary libraries at the Pleasant Hill senior center. Id like for them to keep the old library open until the few one is built and then ill be happy to bring my friends and family and help them move into the new place. Students and teachers of public high schools are being trained to help save lives. The countys Emergency Medical Services agency has begun distributing 600 stop the bleed kits to classrooms. The kits include tourniquets, bandages, a Natural Disaster or some other type of hightrauma incidents. We know how long it will take, right .
