They were going on a Train Mission to try and train for rescued that we were told about five miles off the coast of half moon bay. The pilot was trying to bring it down very gently. And he shared video from the plane. We stood on the wings as long as we could and the plane started sinking. There was jelly fish everywhere and the plane went down. We got into the water. Jelly fish were stinging ugthe entire time we were in there. David lash, the pilot, said they had about 30 seconds to get their cellphone devices and car keys before their plane completely sank into the ocean. And for the next 30 to 40 minutes they were floating in the water. At one point his friend who was flying above call for help. But the water temperature was very cold. He was just wearing flipflops and tshirt and shirts. And at one point the friend lost site of lush and the other friend in the water. The friends described the horrible feeling as he flew but couldnt find his friend. I had been circling him the whole time at the time the airplane hit the water and then i lost site of them. I started drifting off and for about ten minutes i couldnt see him. Lash said he was able to call his friend with his cellphone and thats how they were able to be cited again. And when the coast guard got there they immediately saw the plane and saw the two people below. Amazingly, the people were fine. They brought them back here gave them warm blankets, a warm shower and dry clothes. When i talked to the rescue crew they said this is the way they hoped that every rescue ends. The vibwas good and osthat the other friend act said so quickly. The sheriff and had the harbor master also trialed to pitch in and help.
