oakland teacher strike quickly set up a table in front of oakland technical high school. i actually have one here. this is a teacher here at oakland technical high school. what is the story today? >> we are expected to start right now. around 11:30, we will rally at west oakland. >> reporter: how did things go yesterday ? >> i was inspired by the strong educatorcounselors came out as families and other teachers. and classified staff representing sei you came out to the picket lines to show solidarity. >> reporter: what has this been like for teachers? you are not being paid. how does that impact you quick >> i have to be honest. it is stressful and really hard to make a living wage here and oakland and live in oakland and work in oakland in the community i love. knowing i want to stay as a teacher here, i have to struggle to stay here has been stressful but being out here with other educators who are fighting for the same cause is inspiring.>> reporter: tell us your main message picked >> we have four main messages. we want a living wage for our teachers and educators. we want smaller class sizes. we would like to have smaller caseloads for nurses and counselors a note school
