According to investigators, he then shot and killed three people outside then went inside pulled a fire alarm and while wearing a gas mask and carrying magazines and smoke grenades, started shooting at students and teachers as they flooded into the hall. He then fled. An assistant coconut creek, florida, Police Officer spotted the suspect in a neighborhood about a mile away and arrested him. I pulled my vehicle over engage the suspect. You know, i i want to give you an idea of how big and how small that can be. The gestures. We have seen people coming in and out all day, some friends, some family members no doubt. But we also saw someone from a local sports bar who pulled up with a minivan he had his wife with a young baby and said what are you doing . And i said we decided to cook up 100 buffalo wings and some burgers and some other sandwiches and food and we said so for the families of the victims . Yeah. We want to help them. The hospital workers have been working around the clock and havent slept but we dont know if they have stopped to have a meal. So you get an idea of how the community is coming together. I dont know when aarons funeral is. I dont know how many adult are going to go. But you will get 2,000 kids there. The kids in this community loved him. That he doored him. He was one of the greatest people i knew, they adored him. He was a phenomenal man. A month Later Authority say he mailed a nearly identical device to the home of a alameda Police Officer. The officer was at work at the time. His wife opened the package suffering hearing loss and minor burns when it exploded. The officer interviewed him in 2013 as part of a drug and burglary investigation. The modesto couple charged with murder for the stabbing death a young woman left to die on a rural road east of livermore was back in court this morning. As ktvus henry lee found out, they are expecting a baby together and facing murder charges together. Reporter daniel gross and his fiancee Melissa Leonardo did not enter a plea to charges of murder. Authorities say they are equally responsible in the stabbing death of their friend, 19yearold Lizette Cuesta and leaving her for dead along tesla road. Motorists found cuesta crawling on her stomach. Before she died she identified the couple as her killers. Sources tell ktvu that gross admitted to stabbing cuesta more than 2 dozen times in the head, back and neck. In a jailhouse interview, gross told me he acted in self defense and snapped after the victim elbowed him. He told me that leonardo was driving the night of the incident. Earlier in the evening gross said he had sex with cuesta in the back of his fiancees car. At this point i have learned more about the case from you people than i have from the district attorneys office. And no offense but i dont take anything you say at face value. She is scared and frightened by all of this. This is a terrible situation for her. She hasnt had experience with the Justice System before. This is new to her. Im not going to characterize what the case looks like because i dont have the information. Reporter bowman has a ten monthold child with gross. She said gross had a temper and leonardo was jealous. He would get mad and sometimes, like, or if you try to, like, physically do something but it wouldnt get to the point where he would want to physically kill. Reporter the couple is held without bail. Walnut creek police have released pictures of a man who they say exposed himself and committed a lewd act on a transit bus last week. He boarded a walnut creek free trolley downtown and exposed himself to a woman on board while making crude gestures. The woman alerted the bus driver when they arrived at the bart station but he fled. He is 35 to 45, about 511, and cleanshaven. Richmond police say they arrested a 17yearold boy during an operation to crack down on street robberies. Officers say on tuesday night, they spotted two suspicious people on 13th street. One of them was wearing a ski mask. One suspect ran off but they were able to take the masked teen into custody after a short chase. They say he was carrying a loaded gun, a cell phone and bag of bullets along with a student identification from hercules high school. A Vacaville School bus driver has been arrested for allegedly abusing a special Needs Elementary School student. The incident was caught on School Bus Surveillance video. According to the Vacaville Unified School district, kim klopson was working as a substitute bus driver when a second grader didnt want to get off the bus at school. Klopson who worked for the district 18 years reportedly grabbed the little girl and tried to forcibly remove her while speaking in what one vacaville Police Officer described as a mean tone. This incident was upsetting beyond words. Reporter the struggle was violent enough that it left the 7yearold with abrasions on her torso. An associate superintendent said the footage from the cameras is hard to watch and the drivers behavior was inexcusable. Reporter School Bus Transportation is only pride to 200 special needs students and all drivers including klopson have required training but this persons child who rode the bus in the past has concerns. Id rather take her to school every morning. Reporter klopson worked for the district 18 years without incident. She only worked three days this school year. The district reviewed video of her other two bus rides this year and didnt find other red flags. Would you say youre confident this is the only time its ever happened . We get calls from principals, teachers and parents, a fight at school, threatening in person or on social media. My officers will talk to the kid, talk to the parents. Lamb is one of 20 officers who patrol the middle and high schools, along with 90 civilian officers. Different problems in their lives start to surface and we take heed of some of the things that might Little Details that might sound off some red flags. That might have been helpful information that could have prevented a tragedy.
