[crying] >> we had talks with her, if you go out be safe. if i would've known she was here, i would've picked her up and taking her home. >> reporter: el camino royale is a busy girl fair, after a night of fun, she made the right choice by looking for rideshare. she was crossing the street. in the middle.>> at 12 clock at night it's dark out there, she's a really nice person. it's very sad. >> teresa gonzales has created a go fund me page. we understand right now $3100 has been raised. she has a daughter, in hawaii. that daughter is flying home to be here monday, just to help with funeral arrangements, and teresa gonzales was said to have a love for the ocean. she was to be cremated, and have her ashes spread in the ocean. heather? let's hope that someone spot that vehicle calls morning. the army corps of engineers had contractors move large debris, getting to this point requires homeowners to sign away what is left of their homes. at the county's debris removal fair, susan coffee park. the soil from the site is set by -- to a state laboratory to test for toxins. once the site is cleared by the state the property owner can rebuild. they hired 3 local contractors to do been staffing of the fire prevention bureau, but say they're battling a long- standing historical staffing shortage. the report highlights accomplishments as well. such as hiring a permanent fire chief, adding 6 fire inspectors, and identifying 135 hazardous properties. the city has challenges keeping living spaces safe, without displacing people.>> we've been very disappointed, about some property owners response. when we have recognized or identified compliance problems or life safety problems. the response has been to evict the tenants rather than to come in and work with us. that remains, a challenge.>> this report explains a lot more for instance a database for different departments to community with each other in real time. for months our team has been tracking thomas information to see how well the mayor and city officials have kept true to the promises they made after the fire. we will have that full story on monday. candace, fox 2 news. a man is in jail after he was selling drugs close to a school. 54-year-old michael salazar is accused of selling methamphetamines from his home which is located right near the charter school. they said during a s.w.a.t. raid they found drugs and weapons inside the home. salazar was booked into the county jail on drug and weapon charges. a massive traffic jam on interstate 80 after the big rig truck -- crash. fully no one was injured. authorities had to close down lanes. about 40 gallons of diesel fuel, also spilled. that is when the big rig gas tank ruptured. we know it is contained, and we are making sure no wildlife is affected by the spill.>> again, traffic was backed up for miles. at one point the chp had to shut down all eastbound lanes on 80. the backup that weighed the backup big rig could maneuver on the highway. the cause of crash -- of the crash is under investigation. the driver said he lost control of the red and skidded on the guide rail hundred feet before stopping just before the university exit. there was an outpouring of support for similar cisco police officer critically injured by a fleeing suspect car. elliott was hit by an suv last month. is 32 years old, and suffered severe head told, it launched a campaign to stop city leaders from -- to help it not be opened. think carlos is 29,000 people. the only gun store on el camino royale has been there for almost 50 years. longtime resident, and a reverend alan gates said he was blindsided when he walked by a storefront near best buy, on industrial road a couple weeks ago and sought a second gun store. turner's outdoor -- chances did go up a little bit in the afternoon hours. the best chance will be up in the north day. here is a satellite in radar, it is focused in cape mendocino . we might have some green coverage in parts of the great -- bay area tomorrow. current temperatures are 40s and 50s. here is our forcast model tomorrow showing lots of clouds, a lot of cello coverage but the best chance will be up in the north bay. even in this area you can have some missed, drizzle, and rain in the morning. we could have more coverage by tomorrow afternoon and into tomorrow night. tuesday, will be a break. we are seeing more developments out in the pacific, here's overall weather timeline and weather story. a few scattered showers on -- on monday. dry pattern for tuesday, wednesday we could have stronger storm. as far as rainfall numbers? not a major problem. up to the north bay they go out. possibly approaching a quarter of an inch. numbers definitely go up and wednesdays a stronger system comes on shore. and then into thursday morning, possibly into the upcoming weekend we could have more rain showers. still a chance the forecast models going back and forth. this year as they have a winter storm watch that will kick in wednesday morning to good portion of thursday and up above , 8000 feet we could have over 1 foot of snow. if you have plans for this year is for thanksgiving it could be a product of storm. stock tomorrow is not a washout, you will have scattered showers across portions of the bay area. especially from san francisco and oakland north. your 5 day forecast make the most of these break days for tuesday. partly sunny skies for tuesday, and then probably friday as well. that stronger system into wednesday will be favoring northern california. if you take a look at the weekend i was going to advertise a wet pattern, but the latest forecast models is backing off on that chance. we have to keep an eye on that over the next few days. we are still talking about some
