We are hoping to see the numbers up when we get the evening update tonight. With the redwood fire at 34,000 acres and 10 contained. 2500 acres with 55 containment. As far as our biggest concern right now, there are two primary things. We have been able to repopulate many of the areas that were under evacuation orders along both fires. Which poses a concern for us having citizens in and within the fire area. This is an area that has gone through a lot in the last week. We still have roadways that have been impacted. Power lines and utility. There are crews working everywhere. That is the not a threat. Just another thing we are working with so that we can make sure citizens can get back to their home. Not quite to the level it is going to be we want to urge the homeowners. Even though those orders have been downgraded the threat is still there. They need to stay tuned to their news resources and fire information. As result sunday night and monday morning the situation can turn rapidly. Do you know anything about that or how an earthquake would impact the firefight . I dont know anything about that. Im at the incident command post in yreka. I can say we did not feel anything or notice anything. I dont know if it would affect the fire at all. Probably utilities would be the first thing coming to mind. You are north of the fires if you are in yreka. We have looked at the map. It looks like the fires is close to 101 going up. Are there a number, it is a little north the willis area. Is there a lot of homes in that area . It is still relatively rural area compared to the homes down in napa closer to the bay area. There is still quite a bit decent size population appear. We have to deal with the dissemination of information and communication. A lot of areas are more rural. Hillsides and ridges often block the cellular communication that people rely on. That can contribute to an increased problem if we are trying to get information or receive information from those people. Amber amberson from cal fire giving us the latest information in Mendocino County. We wish you the best. We just spoke 3. 7 earthquake in Mendocino CountyMendocino CountyRedwood Valley.
