Inmate said that garcia guards created a rape club within the prison 6 others have also been found guilty last week, a dozen more women filed abuse in retaliation. Lawsuits. Dozens more lawsuits are expected to be filed in the coming months. Students deserve safe access to campus. Organizers say propalestinian and antiisrael protesters have blocked, say their gate for weeks and campus policy cited by protest. Organizers indicate that say theyre should not be blocked. We want the University Administration to enforce their policy part of this means calling out hate against jews. But more than that when theres a student or Student Organization that is violating policies such as protesting and blocking, say their gate. To enforce the policy. At the expense of jewish students, many students we spoke with say they feel less safe on campus. Definitely uncomfortable. Forcing police to evacuate attendees along with an israeli speaker. The Uc Berkeley Police department announcing last week that it was investigating those incidents as a hate crime. It is statement uc berkeleys vice chancellor says in part, quote, while we support the exercise of free speech rights, the campus also seeks to enforce its time place and manner restrictions for that reason, we have been making efforts to end those aspects of the nonviolent protest at say gate that violates those restrictions were doing so following established protocols as seek to avoid the involvement of Law Enforcement to address nonviolent protests except as a last resort reporting. Developing story now out of the north bay, 3 of the 4 deputy shot during last week. Shootout in Sonoma County have now been released from the hospital on the 4th is out of the icu, according to investigators last monday, deputies responded to reports of a man holding a rifle just outside of santa rosa. They got into a car chase with a suspect before shootout started, 4 deputies were injured. One of them was shot in the leg to had hand injuries. The 4th deputy suffered a serious head injury and was listed in Critical Condition following the shooting. That deputy has now been released from the icu. But its still in the hospital. San Francisco Police have confirmed with us. They have reopened the investigation of 63 yearold yanks thing moves death after discovering the person involved in that attack was allegedly involved in the attack of another elderly, asian woman last week. The suspect has now been identified as 43 yearold. Sayah hopkinson july 3rd of last year pushed to the ground by hopkins allegedly a move that died 2 days later, 2 weeks after her death, the Asian Justice Movement demanded that sfpd released video of was attacked. But 2 days later, the group found out that that attack was ruled an accident last week. Hopkins allegedly attacked a 71 yearold can to be speaking woman in San Francisco. This happened in the citys bayview neighborhood on gilman avenue right near Bret Hart Elementary School hopkins faces multiple Assault Charges in that incident, an accident. This are believing now that both attacks were racially motivated and they want wus death to be charged as a hate crime. The Police Department has said it will not be releasing video of the incident as they believe it could jeopardize the investigation. And deputies now with the Santa Clara CountySheriffs Office have arrested 4 people for allegedly stealing more than 3800 in merchandise from a target store in cupertino, 2 adults and 2 minors were caught stealing items such as tide pods, headphones, pillows and cell phone accessories. The Sheriffs Office coordinated with targets last Prevention Department as part of this blitz operation. The Sheriffs Office received more than 11 Million Dollars in state grants to combat organized retail theft. But that is to say that we have a little rain building on top of a little rain. Weve also been running a little bit cool today. Were starting to even out now in the north bay. That was mike kind of cooler spot earlier. But with its a bit of a pattern of this weather kind of rolling in and then behind it, a little cool air coming in right now. Were at 57 degrees in San Francisco. Weve got some nice low 60s in san jose and also the inner east bay. But, you know, i mentioned the north bay was a little cooler nevado now 61, but were running in the 50s and many other spots and the wind is picking up a little bit of an onshore breeze starting to happen. You can see 15 Miles Per Hour there. So tonight were going to start to see things change for our weather. We will have the clouds increase, turning that into showers as we get into about the 7 8 oclock time frame in the north bay. Temperatures staying relatively warm with all that cloud cover that is out there. But as we take a live look here, you can see on Storm Tracker 4 the front that is headed our way. This is coming as the city is seeing more People Living on the streets. This program is called the Homeward Bound Program and it was initiated in 2005 by governor gavin newsom when he served as San Francisco the Program Provides people with both travel and Relocation Assistance with the end goal of cleaning the streets of San Francisco at allowing up to 1000 unhoused people a chance to get back to their home towns and reunite with their family. We are now putting him back in the municipal code. For ensuring that the Human Services agency hes overseeing the program between itself and the department homeless port of housing. And they will be in your reporting. And so we feel like this way, theres no way it can be sidelined again, very in the bureaucracy or an afterthought. Also wind advisory tomorrow for the lake itself. So thats going make things a little bit difficult to, but its not going to be huge, massive storm that we just recently. Were going to see just very kind of moderate snow thats going to come down and really just reinforce the snow pack that were doing so well with. These are the averages right now. As you can see, northern sierra 115 100 . The central 92 in the southern. Want to hang on to that as we go through march in kind of wind up that season.
