Police are looking for 40 yearold robert card. They believe he is the person behind a mass shooting that killed at least 18 people and injured 13 others. Police say that he opened fire at 2 different locations last night. First, a Bowling Alley and then a restaurant bar. They say he is a former military person and was recently committed to a Mental Health facility. He was photographed here holding an assaultstyle rifle. An arrest warrant has now been issued for him. Police say card is considered armed and dangerous. Theyre telling people to stay in their homes but their doors locked as they search for him. Public schools have been canceled for the day. Investigators are still processing the 2 shooting scenes as theyre working now to gather evidence. There is an arrest warrant for 8 counts of murder for karr. And the reason its 8 counts because 10 people have not yet been identified as those people are identified the council probably go to the total of 18. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Based on our investigation. We believe this is some of that should not be approached. The white house says President Joe Biden spoke with the governor of maine and is offering full federal support. Well, this is just a very tragic case. And now the Police Department is investigating the death of a mother and her child april, i mean, you think shes a sweet work on thursday, the friends of clower remembered her as a kind caring person and a wonderful teacher everybody loved being a everybody. According to the san jose Police Department on tuesday evenings lauer who was pregnant was driving eastbound along blossom hill road when she was involved in the collision with a white hyundai sedan traveling southbound on winfield boulevard, 2 men in the hyundai, which was later determined to be stolen fled the scene on foot. So glower was taken to the hospital with lifethreatening injuries. But later died doctors performed emergency surgery to save her unborn child. But the baby passed away wednesday evening. So far police have not identified the suspects in this case or released a detailed description of the 2 men. This was the 42nd fatal collision in san jose this year and the 43rd and 44th traffic deaths of the year. Aprils friends say they are having a hard time accepting that she and her baby are gone. Really difficult. Give now. Now a go. One person shot and killed. Kron fours amanda hari on the scene. The San Leandro Community is shocked by this shooting that happened in the middle of the day. Were learning the victim was a barber at this shop down the street. Its a family oriented shop. This kids here. Every time ive come, dozens of people gathering near the crime scene tape tuesday afternoon, crying and hugging one another after hearing a member of their community was shot and killed around one san leandro. Police started getting calls of shots fired. Your east 14th street and blossom way tie rod sampson says he wouldnt expect this to happen here, dont be happening like this. But this is starting to. Its starting to get crazy. You know, starting just go out of control. Police say 2 people were shot. Officers believe a client of the shop suffered minor injuries. The barber was pronounced dead at the scene surge and g says he went to the barber shop for years. He was a great barbara been going over over there since i was 5th grade. Maybe before 4th grade. And he just he was great with people. He was great with kids. Police are still investigating. If this was a targeted shooting, they dont believe theres any threat to the public. Sampson says hes related to the victim and also works at the shop. I would be did too. If i was was here you know, i just missed the police havent released any information about a suspect or suspects trust yet they did canvass the area for any Surveillance Video or witnesses. In san leandro amanda hari kron, 4 news. Oakley police have arrested a man in connection with that deadly shooting that happened at a house party over the weekend. Police say they have arrested jason was adam from antioch yesterday afternoon. The shooting happened saturday night and shannon way just a few blocks away from freedom. High school. They say 16 yearold kamari and tucker from brentwood was killed and 3 others were injured. 2 people are still recovering in the hospital. That 3rd person has been released. The suspect has been booked into the main detention facility in martinez on 1 million, 150,000. Bond. Police are still looking into what led up to that shooting. The Pleasant Hill pilot accused of trying to shut off the engines of a jet midflight due in federal court today earlier this week, Joseph Emerson pleaded not guilty to 83 state charges of Second Degree attempted murder. His first appearance in federal court is for a single count of interfering with a flight crew and passengers. Police in oregon are saying everson told them that he took mushrooms. 48 hours before the flight and thought that he was dreaming when he tried to shut off the engines. He added that he had just had a nervous breakdown and was struggling with depression and the recent death of his friend and had not slept in 40 hours. State senator steve glazer is calling on governor gavin newsom to help with any ox Police Staffing issues. In a letter to newsom glazer wrote the city of antioch is struggling with Public Safety right now. And the chp can help. And mayor lamar thorpe says Police Response times are too long since more than half of the citys 87 officers are on leave due to the investigations into the force. If take your eye over here, you notice theres a brandnew dusting of snow on the peaks. So weve got a little bit of snow yesterday and into last night. Not a whole lot. Not most of the resorts are really reporting snow totals yet, but i found a few a fierce know lab reporting 3. 9 inches in the last 24 hours have only 2 inches. Same story palisades. So 2 to 4 inches is about right. Still pretty chilly out there. If you look south lake tahoe, 46 degrees. Well check out tricky. Just 37 degrees. Wind is calm there. Unfortunately, this is going to be offshore wind and it is going to kick up to the tune of about 15 to 25 Miles Per Hour gusts upwards of 40 Miles Per Hour. Most importantly, humidity levels are going to be dropping because of this dry air thats going to come through High Pressure here, low pressure there. Whats going to happen is those 2 kind of start to squeeze together. Clockwise circulation, counter clockwise, circulation, wind being funneled through that. And thats what brings us the offshore component of that dry when coming offshore as opposed to our onshore flow. So were going to see humidity levels drop. We get to saturday. And look, theyre not great right now. You can see a 25 in napa. I want to show you just the future winds get a little breezy this afternoon. No problem.
