With that Sterling Vineyards is ready to welcome wine lovers back from all over the world. Its been 3 years since people could visit the winery thats perched atop a calistoga hill. Thats because the flames from the 2020 class fire ripped through the area, forcing neighbors like facility amoroso along with sterling to shut down for repairs. But true to the winerys name. Its been re imagined and is ready for a sterling silver. What makes it unique is its ability to be molded under fire. Reshaped reformed into something new and beautiful without ever losing its value in the symbolism of what that represents today is really special for us. Celebration took place at the base of the hill. Were crowd gathered at the entrance to sterlings famous, gondolas, rebuilt in 1973. About 10 years after the winery first opened, the fire did the most damage to the system that has now also been completely reconstructed. Was so many great young people and those young people are so excited about doing their thing, trying to find a way to build their character, trying to find a way to be the best they can and what ive seen and what ive learned is that we have a lot of talent here in the bay area. We definitely do. And i know on sunday is when this all kicks off, theres going to be a concert there. Miss sheila e i know youre going to be there and follow. The music is in partnership with elevate oakland, which i know youre a cofounder of. So can you explain a little bit the Mission Behind this partnership and the program why you felt it was needed here in the bay area, specifically. Yeah, weve been working on this. I mean, anytime we can get together and bring awareness to how amazing and powerful music is in the arts and to be able to like randy said for these kids to find themselves in and the way that we can encourage you know that these kids, when you speak with them, theyre like id like to learn is someone to learn how to play that. I want to sing. How did you do it . You know, asking advice and really this given them the opportunity and i agree 100 . There is so much talent ithe bay area like theres something in our water for i got agree. I mean that the lineup for the concert on october 29th. Looks pretty good. Theres, you kids from sf talk to me just a little about where you found. These groups and and what exactly kind of made you say, ok, yes, youre the ones who are going to be. And first concert for follow the music. Well, when you think about the groups that we were talking about, i think she that you can tell you that, you know, the groups are senator around this idea that, hey, ive been associated with certain organizations, but never had a chance to really show my skill. And so if you think about those skills are the skills that were trying to get them to situate him, to be able to do it in middle park at the theater. To me watching all of these young people before its going to be so exciting because what they get a chance to is now theyre on the stage. I mean, theyre not, you know, doing what they usually do in their backyard, doing something with their buddies. They get a chance to actually perform. And so to me, this is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills better yet, you know, the shoulder heart in the show, passion that they have for music. And its a wide range of of music types. What can people expect . I know it kicks off at 6 oclock this sunday. What what type of music can people expect to hear . Its a little bit of everything. Worked with. A lot of these students are ready and some of these schools because weve partnered with them before. Theyre pretty incredible. People are going to be amazed on how talented and then being so young is just amazing. Like i get a kick out of watching them and some talk about i asked them, hey, can i like god, do you need a tax like i can help them bring your instrument. I want to be next to why theres maybe so just to be with them and see them share them on people are going to be shocked if we really want everyone in the bay area to really just try to come and check it out, get your tickets is going to be amazing night.
