The 2 sides have been meeting for the past year, but no deal. The district is offering a 10,000 pay raise for the teachers. But the teachers say they are looking for a lot more than that. San francisco, they say simply too expensive. A lot of people not just leaving the classrooms are prepared to leave the classrooms. Should they go on strike . They were students at televised high school in mill valley, walked on a class on wednesday. They were protesting racism march to city hall after classmate ledley made a video using a racial slur. Students say they hope that the demonstration will lead to some sort of change at that high school. Some incidents have led up to this, which made have a walkout were against the administration at 10 00am not facing actions against these people. We just need some change on it. Community members also joined in on that march we reached out to the School District about this incident and we have not heard back just yet. Well, happening today, the California Domestic Workers Coalition will gather in San Francisco to protest Governor Newsoms vetoing over health and safety bill. The health and safety for all workers act would have allowed cal osha to issue Workplace Safety rules for households employing a domestic worker. Currently Domestic Workers dont have those protections. The protest will take place at 10 00am outside the State Office Building on golden gate avenue. Today, all the sunshine, Beautiful Day to be out and about tomorrow. Youre going to notice a lot more cloud cover on the mat moving across the bay area. And then tomorrow night, a few showers. Now theyre mostly going to stay north of the golden gate up in marin, sonoma, napa and solano counties. The rest of us may just see a sprinkle again. Thats friday night into saturday morning. Well, theres a new hurdle facing millions of americans as they switch to electric vehicles. Problem is a combination of broken ev charging stations and a shortage of electricians that are qualified to fix them on. And weve got news nations Xavier Walton to explain. As more americans shift gears to electric auto experts say prepare for a major speed bump. It is with the sheer number of broken chargers. Theres not nearly enough highlevel electricians to actually right now. There are more than 4,000 charging stations nationwide that are out of service, according to department of energy. Thats roughly 6 of the total number of public charging stations across the country. Concern is that people are reporting that they arent always able to charge. And so that means there has to be a network of repair and repairers. And that is the part thats not happening. By 2030 to keep up with them. And american needs 142,000 more certified electricians problem is the bureau of labor statistics expects the electrician labor pool to shrink 14 .
